Cornell Garden Plots: Welcome

Cornell Gardens . . . Come Grow With Us!

2016 Growing Season

About Us...

Welcome to Cornell Garden Plots!

We are a Community Garden organized as a club of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

Membership is open to everyone in the community, no affiliation with Cornell University is required.

Cornell Garden Plots is located on Freese Road between Hanshaw and Dryden Roads.

Season Start

Gardening will begin on Saturday, April 30th!

Please bring water from home as the water lines will not be on for the first few days.

Gardening Class

All of our members must complete a "Best Gardening Practices" gardening class. This is a two hour class given by Cornell Cooperative Extension on how to identify and deal with plant diseases, effective weed control strategies, and other useful gardening information. The cost of the class is $5-$10 (sliding scale) depending on ability to pay.

There are two sections of the class. May 3rd 6:30-8:30pm and May 21st 2-4pm. Both sections are the same, you only need to attend one section. You must select one of these when you reserve your plot.
